Scarborough Quilt Show 2015

Scarborough Quilt Show at The Spa Scarborough.

Here are a few pics for anyone who was not able to get to the show.

My Stall - Quilt Sandwich. I have now got over 100 Extra wide backing fabrics - the largest collection in the UK. I also offer a longarm quilting service & workshops & retreats with top quality tutors from the UK and abroad.  Full details can be found on my website www.quiltsandwich.co.uk

It was so lovely to see so many quilts made in workshops here at Quilt Sandwich
and also so many customer quilts which I have quilted on display.

Here are a selection of quilts that were on display.

This quilt by Sylvia Britton & quilted by Quilt Sandwich (me!) won the Amish Challenge.

The Chicken Quilt by Janet Dove, won the spots challenge.

I awarded by traders prize to this quilt which has taken 16 years to complete and is beautifully hand quilted by Ann Munday. It was also awarded the hand quilting prize.

Overall it was a great three days with visitors from far and wide. Well done Heirloom Quilters for all your hard work for charity.
