Angela Maddens first Trip to Bridlington

Well this week sees Angela Maddens first trip to teach at The Royal Bridlington.

The first workshop was Celtic Design.






We spent the morning learning about how to design and then making two of our own.



We made our designs on 1/8 of a square then traced by folding the greaseproof paper.

After a delicious lunch Angela showed us how to transfer our design to our fabric and then make the bias and apply to create our designs.

Day two - Beautiful Blooms












To learn Angela's technique of raw edge applique we all completed a simple tulip

Day Three - Decorative Edges

Today we made samples of some of Angela's decorative edge techniques

We have had a great three days with Angela Madden learning many new techniques and ideas and such a lovely lady too.
